Oh I’ve heard of Hyperion but never actually read it. Makes me curious enough to put it on my TBR! Always a soft spot for a fellow Tolkien nerd

Thanks for sharing! I've heard of Hyperion, but your recommendation added it to my list. I also recently picked up Shadow & Claw at a bookstore in Seattle, but haven't yet opened it up. I plan to read it soon. If you liked that, though, you may be interested in The Chronicles of the Black Company by Glen Cook.

Hyperion is great. The first story is so unforgettable and chilling! I loved the Poets Tale too. Inspires one to read Keats.
